Wilkes University invites applicants for a Gift Officer position in the Office of Advancement , which encompasses Development and Alumni Relations. Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will play a critical role in helping the Advancement team prepare for the University's next comprehensive campaign. The successful candidate is responsible for managing a portfolio of 150+ prospects through in-person meetings, Zoom, events, and other personal correspondence. The candidate should be versed in fundraising, from major gifts to annual giving to planned giving. A bachelor's degree is required, as is travel. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a higher-ed setting, preferably in Advancement. Wilkes University is an independent, comprehensive university dedicated to academic excellence in the liberal arts, sciences, and selected professional programs. The University has approximately 2,350 students at the undergraduate level and over 1,350 full time equivalent students at the graduate and first professional levels.
