Position Title : Maintenance Technician Pay Rate : $28.38 – $33.43/hour pending skill level Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time (6pm-6am, Nights) Training will be on Day shift (6am-6pm) Physical Location : Tipton Sheet Feeder 815 Industrial Dr Tipton, IN 46072 765.675.XXXX The Job You Will Perform: Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, numeral controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment. Preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, minimize equipment down time and perform small project activities. Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment; responsible for proper waste disposal. Receptive to training and performing other duties as required. Preferred electrical experience for the following tasks : Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipement such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and corrugating machinery. Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and position sensing devices. Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic componets Troubleshoot drives, i.e. AC and DC Read electrical block diagrams, schematics as well as PLC ladder logic The Skills You Will Bring: Industrial maintenance experience Electrical Aptitude, strongly preferred. Well-rounded in electrical and mechanical knowledge Machine shop skills Desire to produce quality work as part of a team Ability to read, write, and speak English Must be able to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrican knowledge test prior to interview process The hiring process for successful candidates includes a pre-employment test, interview, background check and health/drug screen.
