Bethesda Country Club is hiring a Maintenance Technician . This position will assist a team in the maintenance of the Clubhouse and surrounding dwellings. Maintenance Technician Essential Functions: Perform preventative maintenance, conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, handle basic repairs and maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and repair. Work on projects including but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting. Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and assist in the cleanliness of the Clubhouse. Oversee contractors when major repairs are necessary. Ensure security throughout the premises, including locking and/or unlocking doors as needed, checking mechanisms for proper working condition. Assist in Banquet functions and events with setting up and breaking down tables and chairs and moving furniture as necessary. Maintenance Technician Requirements: Skilled in the use of hand and power tools and the ability to use common tools. Experience using precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Excellent knowledge of drywall and Quicksand usage. Basic HVAC, electric, plumbing, and painting skills. Strong time management skills as well as ability to multitask. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills. Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends.
