Our secret recipe is . never cutting corners!If you are an effective, passionate individual that leads or wants to lead an effective maintenance team with experience in a food manufacturing environment and likes to lead by example on the floor vs. being in the office . we would like to talk to you. . PRIMARY ACOUNTABILITIES: This includes the management of a team and our most important resource . PEOPLE!Be effective and efficient, listen closely, share openly and be a good leader and teammate.By doing the above everything else will fall into line!To keep the facilities and equipment maintained and make recommendations on repair or replacement of equipment or facilitiesTrain qualified maintenance personnel in all aspects of maintaining the plant equipment and all other areas of the manufacturing facility.Respond to calls for maintenance or delegate who is to respond and resolve the problem.Taking the maintenance cell phone with you or other delegated maintenance personnel, to be able to quickly respond to emergency calls when not on company time.Responsible for preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities and related record keeping for such.Maintain files on all equipment.Order parts and supplies pertaining to equipment or facilities at the best possible cost.Education, Experience, Skills:Three to five years of maintenance experience in a high-speed packaging or similar manufacturing environment required, plusTwo to three years of supervisory / lead experience.Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing facilities and equipment.Strong knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, and resource balancing.Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices and procedures.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of various maintenance disciplines, such as mechanical, HVAC, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Ability to overcome obstacles and have the organizational skills necessary to do so.Ability to be proactive in problem solving.Excellent leadership and team building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.This position enjoys excellent wages and a comprehensive benefits package.
