Description:Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 2-2-3 Schedule for shift times of 6p-6a for a food manufacturing facility in the Harrisburg/Hershey.SMALL Relocation package is provided to the area of around $5kThis job will have the following responsibilities: Coordinate day-to-day activities within the Maintenance Department. Ensure the availability of adequate inventories of critical components at all times. Plan and execute activities aimed at continuous improvement in the company's manufacturing practices. Collaborate with other departments to plan seamless modifications or additions to facilities and/or equipment. Inspect work performed by the team, ensuring conformance to standards, drawings, or blueprints, and taking corrective action as needed. Work closely with Plant Management to minimize production downtime during equipment modifications, production line changes, or the installation of new equipment. Determine the needs and feasibility of subcontracted services. Maintain a skilled maintenance staff through effective training and direction. Perform other duties as required by management.Requirements/ Skills:Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of Maintenance leadership/supervision Demonstrated success in developing and delivering training programs for both new and existing employees. Strong familiarity with manufacturing environments and equipment. Possesses a working knowledge of plant engineering principles and practices. Proven ability to independently project labor needs to meet customer demands. Proficient computer skills for tasks such as scheduling and word processing. Fluency in English (reading, writing, and verbally) is essential.
