The selected candidate will work on site in Palmdale, California . Job Functions: Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment Uses hand and power tools Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications Install, maintain and repair pipes, drains, guttering, mechanical services and related equipment for water supply, gas, drainage, sewerage, and other duties as assigned Replace and/or repair fixtures, water heaters, clean drains, work minor interior repairs(drywall, tile, ceilings, etc.) reconfigure conference rooms, escorting, and other daily trade tasks as assigned Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry, maintenance, and/or construction environment Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required Able to work on site in Palmdale, California Plumbing Experience Ability to work 4 /10 (4 days a week/10 hour a day) Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments Experience in Aerospace/Defense Industry Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills We offer flexible work arrangements, excellent learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Salary Range: $57,800 - $96,300The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
