The Plant Engineer/Maintenance Manager manages all maintenance-related activities, including mechanical, electrical, facility, equipment, and other activities, ensuring they are performed safely while meeting all company safety and environmental requirements. Maintains maintenance and electrical schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues. Develops, designs, performs cost estimation and justification, and prepares the business case for capital and expense projects per process design. Directs maintenance department to ensure the plant's equipment and structures are reliable and available to meet production schedules. Works closely with plant staff on continuous improvement initiatives. Supports departments in installing, troubleshooting, rebuilding, and re-designing equipment. Manages all weekly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance events. Assists other departments with planning and technical assistance when needed. Degreed Engineer with an emphasis in any of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Controls or four years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three years of successful and current experience as a maintenance manager or engineer in a continuous, high-speed manufacturing operation.
