Maintenance Associate Full Time - Days (8 am - 4:30 pm) ** Pay rate up to $17.30/hour based on experience** United Methodist Communities is currently seeking a Maintenance Associate for our Pitman Community. United Methodist Communities in Gloucester County, a senior community in Pitman New Jersey, is truly integrated into the life of the town. We are part of a beautiful residential neighborhood, near to highways and public transportation with easy access to both Philadelphia as well as the Jersey Shore. The Maintenance Associate performs repairs to the site, maintain the community (both internally and externally), equipment an ensures a well-maintained building and grounds. Require ments for a Maintenance Associate : High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two years' experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing. Documented apprenticeship or vocational schooling in lieu of two years' experience Responsibilities for a Maintenance Associate : Responsible for general maintenance of building. Install, maintain and repair equipment such as heat pumps, motors, compressors, hot water circulating pumps, fans, unit heaters, condensing coils, motor starts, circuit breakers, and control valves, boilers, cooling towers, thermostats and close-loop controllers. Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment. Maintaining of Logs for Preventative Maintenance and Boilers. Complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner. May purchase tools, supplies and materials. Responsible for checking WorkHub for Work Orders and Preventative Maintenance assigned, closing out when completed and includes any parts used.
