A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR MAINTENANCE AND LIGHT GROUNDS KEEPING STAFF Perform a wide variety of building maintenance and grounds work under the direction of the maintenance and housekeeping supervisors including but not limited to: Floor cover cleaning (vacuuming, shampooing, buffing, etc.) Replenishing towels, toiletries, and soap dispensers Help to maintain storage room of supplies Assist the maintenance staff with painting as needed Assist the maintenance staff to help maintain the outside grounds of the community. You go home after each shift feeling good about the positive impact you have made in the lives of vulnerable people in your community. QUALIFICATIONS 18 years old or older Ability to pass a background check. A minimum of 2 years in maintenance or environmental services. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with different levels of technical or professional personnel from outside contractors. Working knowledge of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
