Fieldhouse Cashier Reports to General Manager/Climbing Wall Supervisor Summary Greet guests and assists in general registration process. Essential Responsibilities Arrive on time, clock in, and report to Supervisor and/or Operations Manager. Dress in uniform and in accordance with assigned Maggie Daley Park Climbing Wall dress code. Ensure your shift is covered if you have a scheduling conflict, if you can’t find coverage you must notify the Climbing Wall Supervisor immediately. Greet climbers and general public with a smile! Maintain clean and safe work environment. Register climbers in computer system. File and manage liability waivers and general demographic information. Take payments for equipment rental and hourly usage fees. Answer Field House telephone, direct messages, and schedule reservations when needed. Organize and maintain correct equipment inventory during rental process. Complete additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Able to take on multiple tasks in high traffic environment while providing excellent customer service. Able to maintain high level of professionalism at all times. Climbing Wall Attendant Reports To: Head Instructor/Climbing Wall Supervisor Summary Monitors climbers in designated zone of climbing wall. Essential Responsibilities Maintain clean and safe climbing wall area (pick up and throw away loose debris or stray items that could create hazardous environment to climbers). Manage climbers to ensure they are climbing along designated area (i.e. not crossing routes or zoned climbing/bouldering areas). Monitor climbers to ensure appropriate behavior is being demonstrated. Complete additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Able to trouble shoot situations while maintaining high level of poise and professionalism. Able to stand for long periods of time. Pay Scale & Dates of Employment $16 per hour minimum.
