We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Machine A Operator at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $21.79 and may be higher depending on experience. 2nd shift also has a shift premium of 4% of your base pay. Responsibilities & Duties: Set up and operate Do-All saws. Set up and operate drill presses. Set up and operate radial arm drill. Set up and operate hydraulic channel and bar shears. Set up and operate auto reverse tapping unit. Set up and operate cycle-Dyne heater and press & other equipment as added. Material handling equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervision. Record labor on work order and timecard accurately. Perform Quality Audit process. Clean work area on daily basis. Perform routine preventative maintenance. Set up and operate plate roller. Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read blueprint and both metric and imperial dimensions on a tape accurately. Must also be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen. We participate in E-Verify. EOE
