Dishwasher Job Summary Position starts at $12.00/hour Full Time Lucy's is a fun, whimsical, family friendly, casual, laid back, neighborhood eatery. An American restaurant offering seasonal contemporary cooking, Lucy's menu is filled with locally sourced food that is made from the heart and served from the heart. We are shared plates, fun cocktails, boozy milkshakes, and a killer wine list with wine on tap. Lucy's radiates good vibes only. We take great pride in selecting individuals that will help us to achieve our mission. What will I be doing? As a dishwasher, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Operate the dishwasher to clean all chinaware, silverware and cooking utensils Scrub pots and pans Stock and maintain supplies and equipment Perform cleaning duties including, but not limited to mopping and removing trash Transport and store clean service safely and efficiently Prepare and place clean service ware for events and functions Train other dishwashers, as needed Requirements Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge for Dishwasher Role Education and Training: The dishwasher job does not require specific academic qualification. Prior experience and knowledge of food preparation and kitchen maintenance is necessary to secure a dishwasher job, but appropriate training will be provided to ensure adequate knowledge of responsibilities and procedures. Physical stamina: Dishwashers need to work for extended periods while standing. This position requires a wide range of mobility and involves the lifting and carrying of heavy items. Technical skill: They can operate and regulate dish washing machines to clean utensils and tableware. Organizational skill: They maintain a clean and tidy kitchen by ensuring dishes and utensils are arranged in proper storage units, sinks and drains are kept clear of food and debris, trash is properly disposed of, and floors are routinely cleared of excess or standing water.
