Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Clinical responsibilities• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs• Perform immunizations/injections• Maintain and update current patient charts• Prepare/preload patient charts as needed • INR work flow/Schedule in house labs• Obtain records from hospitals & update for provider• Supporting the providers and Clinical staff with coverage• Make patient callbacks regarding results • Other duties as assignedPharmaceutical Responsibilities:• Fielding Medication refill requests from patients and outside pharmacies • Reviewing patients chart to ensure medications are due for renewal.• Ensuring patient appointments are current and up to date before refilling medications.• Following up with patients and pharmacies to inform of the status of refill requests.• Prior authorizations and following up with Insurance Companies • Reviewing pharmacy desktop for pending requests, patient call-backs and answers from providers regarding refill authorization. • Act as a liaison between doctor and patient. • Update medication list when needed to ensure accuracy in patient's current medications. • Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem/request. * Maintains patient confidentiality-Knowledge of HIPAA.-Must have current Massachusetts LPN licensure-Knowledge of medical terminology and organization services.-Excellent telephone communication skills.-Excellent customer service skills.-Ability to exercise patience and listening skills in stressful situations.-Experience with electronic medical record.-Delivers High Level Standard of care.-Teamwork approach is a Must!Please apply online.
