Job Opportunity: Low Voltage Field Service Technician with Gunnebo in Anaheim, CA Do you want help create a safer world? Do you excel at the installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems? Do you excel at trouble shooting equipment and thrive on developing strong customer relationships? If yes, we have an opportunity for you! We are looking a Low Voltage Field Service Technician who is required to carry out field-based engineering tasks, fix/preventative service works at customer locations, ranging from secure premises, banking facilities, government buildings and retail outlets to commercial properties. Other responsibilities include: Maintain an open mind to all daily challenges, exploring all options to ensure the highest possible first-time-fix rate and limiting the opportunity for repeat calls to an absolute minimumBackup and assist the service team and other engineers to ensure most effective delivery of service provisionFollow customer procedures to ensure efficient job closureProvide regular and professional communication with the call desk and management teamMaintain currency of knowledge with respect to relevant technology, equipment or working practices required to support the business and its customersAs time permits, map our installed base in the field by conducting site walks and taking pictures to support upselling The ideal candidate will excel at building customer relationships and developing technical skills. In addition, we look for: Knowledge of electronic/electric circuitryAble to read and understand wiring diagramsGood mechanical & hydraulic knowledgeGood knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook packagesExperience of working as a mobile engineerExcellent customer service skills and a commercial knowledge and understanding IT skills and use of PDA / smartphone device softwareAbility to problem solve Compensation: $70k-$85k based on experience!
