AEVEX Aerospace is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time Logistics internship in Harrisonburg, VA. The intern will perform logistics and supply chain related tasks for AEVEX's engineering and production operations. Duties will include inventory organization, shipping and receiving, kitting materials for project builds, and general administrative tasks in the area of inventory management. Essential Functions: Receiving and properly storing inventory Assisting with packaging and shipping of products Kitting and organizing materials for specific project builds Performing inventory cycle counts Assisting with inventory room set up and organization Maintaining and organizing project files Performing clerical, administrative, and general office duties related to logistics Assisting on-site engineering and production staff with any job site-related tasks Qualifications: Enrolled in Bachelor's Degree Program in Business or related field 1-3 years of logistics, warehousing, or inventory management experience in lieu of education Detail driven Highly organized and capable of multitasking Warehousing or inventory management experience preferred Advanced Microsoft Office skills preferred AEVEX provides a full suite of comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k)-retirement plan, comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life insurance group coverage with a portion of the premiums paid by the company, professional development funds, and an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) with counseling, legal help, child and elder care support, among other benefits.
