Logistics Delivery Associate - Furniture & Design Elite Austin is a local design company specializing in home staging and furniture rental. We have a collaborative and fun work environment and value work-life balance. Your day starts at 7:00 am and ends at 3:30, leaving the rest of your day available. You will have your evenings and weekends off, and as you continue to work with us, your paid time off will increase based on the number of years you have been with us. We are currently searching for a Logistics team member to add to our energetic and fun team. The core function of this position involves warehouse activities such as pulling and moving furniture, loading our box trucks, putting away décor items, and going out on jobs to help transport furnishings between the warehouse and the homes we stage. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally, and up to 100 lbs rarely. On an average day, our logistics crew assists in loading furniture onto our truck, going on a route, and pulling and inspecting furniture for the following day. Our daily routes typically include one installation and one move-out. While our truck usually accommodates two, we may assign a third team member for larger installations. We are a small business, so every day is a little bit different. We always start and end our days at the warehouse. Our jobs are all over Austin and the surrounding areas, so you will be in a different part of town each day. You may be at a home on Lake Travis one day and in the penthouse at a residential tower downtown the next. We have a great team of intelligent, motivated people from very different backgrounds. Everyone brings different ideas to the table and is always willing to roll up their sleeves and help out. This collaborative effort is what makes Elite Austin a great place to work! Schedule and Pay: • First 2 weeks are a paid trial period • After 2 weeks, possible full-time position as an employee ($40,000 starting salary DOE)• Flexible hours are available• Full-time benefits include paid holidays, 40+ hours of vacation time, and 16 extra hours of paid time off to cover you if you are sick, health, dental, and vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, 401k, and parental leave. Responsibilities:• Assist in managing logistics, warehouse operations, organization, and inventory control within the company• Support in the installation and movement of furniture, artwork, and decor for various projects• Demonstrate strong customer service abilities when interacting with clients professionally• Maintain open and effective communication with team members and management to ensure efficient logistics operations• Identify any potential issues and provide suitable solutions proactively• Keep work areas, including trucks and warehouses, organized and clean• Exhibit a friendly and welcoming demeanor towards colleagues and clients• Show excellent time management skills and maintain a consistent work ethic daily• Drive large box trucks safely and possess a clean driving record Qualifications:• Experience in furniture assembly and repair, with the ability to comfortably work with tools (training can be provided if necessary)• Physical strength to lift and carry furniture weighing up to 75 pounds• Ability to stand, move, bend, and carry for extended periods of time• Proficiency in maintaining inventory accuracy• Capacity to handle occasional stressful situations and meet deadlines• Willingness to work in both warehouse and outdoor environments• Professional appearance• High reliability and punctuality• Positive attitude, team player, and flexible approach• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose solutions when issues arise• Excellent communication skills in person and via phone (Slack) - Capability to work independently without supervision• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks• Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment• Strong integrity and accountability• Self-motivated and proactive mindset• Clean driving record Compensation: $40,000 About Company: Elite Austin is a local design company specializing in home staging and furniture rental.
