Logistics Analyst We are looking for a Logistics Analyst in Norfolk, VA. This position is onsite at Norfolk Naval Station and provides support to Combat Operation units for financial transactions. Relocation assistance available . Description: Process Transmittals and Budget Optar Reports for units: Approve transmittals and check for errors. Balance the Budget Optar Report with STARS to make sure unit agrees. Financial Reporting: Validate and submit challenges for (SFOEDL) Summary Field Order Expenditure Listings. Process Overaged Validation Reports for units. Validate active document reports. Produce Grants vs Obligations report for the Comptroller. Work unmatched expenditures and transaction exception validation reports in STARS. Review Facts and Justification reports from units. Issue grants and process realignments from within unit's budget. Provide inputs to Combat Ops lead and Budget Officer as to budget requirements. Research and process unmatched disbursements. Annotate remarks in STARS. Send emails to ships to obligations on TL's. Research and process (TEXV) Transaction Exception Validation in STARS. Process weekly OPTAR TL's from ship. Check CFMS for TL submission by units, ensuring interface with CFMS and STARS-FL processed accurately. Check TL suspense for missing TL's in STARS-FL if needed. Validate and balance TL's and S1 extracts. Email Accounting Officer and Accounting lead of your validation email of any missing TL's. Process weekly fuel TL's. Approve incoming Fuel TL's in CFMS from ships. Monthly validation of the BOR (BUDGET OPTAR REPORT). Balance TL's to STARS to BOR. Research any out of balances. Required Qualifications: Knowledge of Navy Financials Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline ideal, if you don't have a degree you can substitute, four years of experience in Navy logistics , AIS management, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of Navy logistics and AISs. Minimum Exp : Minimum of three years of in combination of Navy logistics, AIS management, inventory management, financial management and functionality of military logistics AISs. Must have a current DoD Secret clearance or higher; US Citizenship Required Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate would be one of the below; A former Navy Logistics Specialist with extensive experience in Navy Financial Management systems; STARS and CFMS. Experience in End-Use procedures and/or Navy Expeditionary Forces environment. Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management. Familiar with Expeditionary Force Supply Operations. Familiar with Expeditionary Table of Allowances (TOA). Intermediate to Expert level experience in utilizing MS-Access and Excel in conducting data mining analysis. Salary: Commensurate with experience Must have a current DoD Secret Clearance.
