JOB DESCRIPTION The Locksmith is responsible for skilled, repair, and service of locks, electronic access equipment and related hardware. Performs preventative and/or corrective maintenance on new and existing locks, locking controls, doors, and other equipment in accordance with work orders or direction from Facility Manager and/or Supervisor. Installs, repairs and maintains pneumatic locking systems, door Positioning Sensors, electric door, and manual and electronic panic devices openers. Installs, repairs, and maintains electro-magnetic latching systems; wires and installs card reading and scanning devices. Establishes key lock and related systems which permit controlled access to buildings and ensures security. Cleans, lubricates, and adjusts locks; checks keys and locks for wear and repairs or replaces them. Responds to emergency requests regarding problems with building locking devices and services within established standards of promptness. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION Minimum three to five years' locksmith or maintenance experience in commercial environments. PDN-9b72629d-2197-4a9f-956a-d35b887e61e6
