SUMMARY Process closed loans and daily maintenance of all loans. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Booking of mortgage loans Daily processing of payments received in the mail Daily maintenance of all loan types Balancing of loan related GL and DDA accounts Handling escrow accounts Handling credit disputes Handling insurance mail Handling loan customer service via phone Perform duties as defined in the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program Performs other duties as assigned by management. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS High School Diploma or equivalent One to two years of similar or related experience General knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures Experience of consumer/commercial loan or credit experience a plus Strong attention to detail, good judgment and decision-making skills Presents a professional image in dealing with customers, interdepartmental and external representatives Have a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees Ability to exercise personal and professional responsibility and work with limited direction Must be able to use tact and diplomacy and communicate effectively via telephone, letters, personal contact, etc Computer Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet Explorer Must be a team player General knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be capable of operating all types of office equipment EQUIPMENT USED Computer, telephone, fax machine, scanner, copier, printer SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS : None WORKING CONDITIONS Requires incumbent to remain sedentary within office Requires some travel for training/seminars The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
