Monday thru Friday - 8:45 am to 5:45 pm Job Details: Weekends off - Every Saturday and Sunday off! Paid leave - Full time employees will receive vacation time and sick time accrual starting their second pay period of employment. 401(k) retirement plans - New employees eligible for 401K package at the first of the month following one month of employment (must be at least 18 years of age). Spanish speaking differential offered Responsibilities: Assist members with their consumer lending needs; analyze loan requests, make credit decisions based on lending policy and assist with the direction and administration of Branch Operations as directed by Branch Manager. As a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies and limits. Maximizes credit union profitability through appropriate cross-selling of credit union products and services. Aggressively promotes and sells Credit Life, Credit Disability and GAP Insurance to Credit Union Members. As part of the Horizon Credit Union team, you will efficiently assist members with teller transactions and provide excellent member service. Provide accurate, courteous, and professional service to all members or potential members when assisting them with financial transactions or inquires. Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Excellent communication skills Professional attitude Honesty and Integrity Solid math skills Good typing skills Spanish Speaking Preferred but not required About us
