We have an opening for a Loan Officer Assistant to support our top-producing sales team in our Lake Success, NY headquarters. HUGE plus to be bilingual in Spanish! This is an in-office position (not remote) so the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the office on a daily basis. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with loan officers to ensure loan structuring and adherence to underwriting guidelines• Assist in loan processing, managing the loan pipeline, and ensuring timely completion of documentation• Communicate effectively and provide regular updates to clients, real estate agents, and attorneys involved in the loan process• Exhibit excellent customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the loan process• Demonstrate sales acumen to support business development efforts, including outreach to potential referral partners such as real estate agents, accountants, attorneys, and financial planners• Assist with social media marketing initiatives, including managing accounts, creating engaging content, and monitoring performance• Contribute to the preparation of marketing materials and collateral to promote our services• Coordinate and assist in planning various events related to business development and client engagement• Be part of a collaborative, hard-working team of professionals who are motivated by being the best they can be and continuously seeking ways to improve personally & professionally Qualifications:• PREFER bilingual in Spanish / English- both written and verbal • Must be able to work in the office in Lake Success, NY • Minimum 2-5 years experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or similar position in a sales capacity• Excellent multi-tasker in a very fast-paced environment• Encompass experience is required • Salesforce experience a plus• Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator a plus or if not licensed; willing to take a test to become licensed in NY• Outgoing - Comfortable talking to clients in person or via phone• Team player• Previous experience in the mortgage industry with a strong understanding of loan structuring, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing• Strong communication skills to maintain regular updates with clients, real estate agents, and attorneys• Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to business development efforts• Familiarity with social media management and event planning• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be coached and mentored by top industry professionals Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 + per file bonus About Company: Why Choose Madison Mortgage Services: Our foundation is built upon a set of core values that define who we are and drive our every endeavor.
