Are you looking for a full-time live-in position where you can help people with disabilities live independent, fulfilling lives? As a live-in DSP caregiver with ACT, you'll provide caring, compassionate support to individuals with disabilities in their home. You'll have a full-time schedule at a competitive hourly salary. You will then provide just five nights of overnight coverage in exchange for rent and utilities in your own private quarters. What an amazing and unique opportunity! Responsibilities: Provide caring, compassionate, and person-centered care: passing meds, meal prep, personal hygiene assistance, cleaning, personal/household shopping, laundry, etc. Support individuals in their home and community as they live their best independent lives! Follow individual care plans to help individuals work toward achieving goals. Document as needed, from communicating with team to daily notes and med passes. Provide a safe place for everyone - following emergency and inspection procedures (house and site vehicle). Be an example of positive communication and social skills. Provide emergency coverage during inclement weather. Maintain certifications: CPR, First Aid, NCI, Medication Administration, Abuse/Neglect Prevention, Positive Behavior Support, HIPAA, HCBS and any others required by the agency or supervisor. Paid training is provided. Pay Range for this position is $19.00 to $20.00, based on experience and education. $1.00 shift differential on evening shift. $3.00 shift differential for weekend hours. Pay Increases: $.50 per hour after 6 months of employment and an additional $.50 per hour after 12 months of employment. $3,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out as the following: $1,500 pre-tax bonus after 6 successful months of employment. Second $1,500 pre-tax bonus paid out after 12 months of successful employment status. Live-Ins are required to work 40 contact hours per week, paid at their hourly rate. Additionally, Live-Ins are required to be present on the property in their own quarters 5 of 7 overnights per week in exchange for their separate living quarter's rent and utilities (paid for them).
