The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and complex civil litigation, with a passion for advocacy and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients. Job Overview:Represent clients in court cases and adversarial legal proceedings, including arbitrations, mediations, and administrative law proceedings.Handle commercial and complex civil litigation, collaborating with clients to develop effective legal strategies.Draft and file briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings.Conduct witness interviews and depositions, and manage the discovery process.Supervise mediation sessions and offer legal advice to clients.Manage multiple clients, cases, and legal activities with varying deadlines.Engage in business development activities, including involvement in professional organizations and writing.Supervise paralegals, staff, and team members as your role progresses. Duties:Represent clients and businesses in civil litigation and legal proceedings.Collaborate with clients and advisors to develop strategies.Draft and file briefs, motions, and pleadings.Conduct witness interviews and depositions.Supervise mediation sessions and provide legal advice.Manage multiple clients and cases with varying deadlines.Engage in business development activities.Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
