As a Litigation Practice Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to our litigation team. You will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys and paralegals in all aspects of litigation cases, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient operations. Your strong organizational skills, ability to handle sensitive information, and commitment to delivering high-quality work will be instrumental in the success of our litigation practice.Responsibilities: Assist attorneys and paralegals in managing and organizing case files, documents, and exhibits. Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and court filings with accuracy and attention to detail. Coordinate and manage court filings, including electronic filings and paper filings. Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and manage attorney's and paralegal's appointment calendars. Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy. Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and preparing trial binders. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other external stakeholders. Handle administrative tasks, such as managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client contact information. Manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and regular mail. Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and internal procedures.
