Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel for their Boston, MA office.Job Overview: The Litigation Of Counsel will provide legal counsel and representation in litigation matters, focusing on product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in science, superior research and writing skills, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:J.D. degree8+ years of litigation experienceAdmission to the Massachusetts BarDirect and applicable experience with an AmLaw 100 law firmBackground in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology)Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigationSuperior research, analytical, and writing skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyStrong project management skills and attention to detailStrong academic background from nationally recognized schoolsCertifications and Skills:Preferably 8+ years of litigation experience gained at an AmLaw 100 firmExperience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus This Amlaw firm is best known for allowing its associates to find a balanced work load that best suites them.
