The ideal candidate will have a passion for intellectual property law and a strong background in litigation, connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.Job Overview:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in litigation matters related to connectivity, privacy, and copyright issues.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide support on complex legal matters.Duties:Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings.Analyze legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients on connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and settlement proposals.Conduct legal research to support case strategy and legal arguments.Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.A minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law, focusing on litigation, connectivity, privacy, and copyright matters.Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, including copyright infringement and fair use principles.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar.Skills:Legal research and writingLitigation strategy and case managementIntellectual property lawConnectivity and privacy regulationsNegotiation and settlement skillsAttention to detail and accuracy This large full service international law firm is devoted to providing legal representation of unparalleled quality to their clients and is now one of the world's largest and most successful law firms with nearly 1,000 lawyers.
