This position offers a supportive work environment with ample professional growth and development opportunities.Duties:Represent clients in litigation cases efficiently and with professional integrity.Handle all phases of litigation, including investigations, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.Draft and edit pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.Engage in active settlement negotiations and participate in mediation.Conduct legal research and analysis on cases and provide legal advice to clients.Prepare and deliver oral arguments in court hearings and trials.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and the firm’s support staff to ensure comprehensive client representation.Maintain timely and accurate billing and timekeeping records.Stay current on legal developments affecting the firm’s practice areas and clients.Requirements:Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California.1-2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in litigation.Proven track record of managing a litigation caseload effectively.Strong ability to analyze legal issues, develop legal strategies, and negotiate resolutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.Education:A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Strong research and analytical skills.Proficient in legal research software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and precision in legal writing and documentation.Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan with firm contributions.Employer contributions to health and dental plans.Subsidized gym membership to promote work-life balance.Comprehensive disability coverage to ensure financial security in the event of disability.
