Our firm is looking for a litigation attorney interested in a flexible work environment with great opportunity for experience and growth in a wide range of practice areas, including constitutional and municipal law, land use, construction law, and corporate law. We prefer someone who knows their way around discovery and trial preparation, but most important to us is finding someone who is bright, enjoys collaboration with colleagues, and is confident enough to take on more and more responsibility as time goes by. We are open to some interested in full- or part-time work. We are also open to someone who wants to work primarily remotely. Job requirements: • Strong working knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence. • Experience drafting pleadings, discovery (both requests and responses), motions, settlement demands, and mediation briefs. • Excellent written and oral communication. • Admitted to practice in the state of California. Personal characteristics: • Works well with others. • Takes pride in work and attention to detail. • Asks questions when more direction is needed, but not afraid to work independently.
