Being a line cook at The Kitchen at 40 Cherry is not your average food service job. We serve meals cooked to order in our ghost kitchen that can be ordered through apps like Doordash and Uber Eats, but much of our time and energy is spent serving guests and staff at Mel Trotter Ministries, where we cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We're proud to fill that need and to be able to do so with excellence! We believe that those experiencing homelessness deserve to be treated with the same level of dignity, customer service and food quality as anyone else. We take pride in the fact that we're not just cooking great food; we're doing it for a greater purpose.
