Qualifications CPR and AED Certification (Required) Lifeguard Certification (Required) US work authorization (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) *Training will be available to those seeking certification * Full Job Description : Lifeguards Dallas Country Club is currently seeking qualified individuals for Lifeguard position. DCC, founded in 1896, is the most exclusive and prestigious private club in the area and we pride ourselves on hiring the best of the best. Guards must be attentive in monitoring the safety of the pool and surrounding area as well as capable of providing assistance when needed both in and out of the water. Responsibilities: Monitoring activities in the pool and around the deck area Implementing guidelines and procedures established by the American Red Cross to maintain a safe pool environment, prevent injuries, and minimize dangerous situations Providing first aid care and appropriate assistance to members and guests when needed Assisting patrons, such as performing safety orientations, administering swim tests and fitting for life jackets Performing opening duties, closing duties or facility safety checks and inspections Enforcing facility rules and regulations and educating patrons about them Maintaining the cleanliness of the pool and pool area (picking up towels, lost and found, etc.) Present a professional appearance and attitude, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service Working as a team with other lifeguards, facility staff and management (Communication is Key) Participating in meetings and voicing concerns as well as suggestions for improvement Assist in the completion of required records and reports on time Disciplining children when necessary Requirements: -Valid Lifeguard, CPR, and AED Certifications. Training will be available to those seeking certification. -Job can be scheduled around school/classes -Available to work flexible hours as well as holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day) * Beginning May 5, hours needed are: Fridays May 5,12, 19 | 5:00-9:00pm; Friday May 26 11:00am-9:00pm Saturdays May 6, 13, 20, 27 | 11:00am-8:00pm Sundays May 7, 14, 21, 28 | 11:00am-8:00pm * Beginning Monday May 29 pool open daily 10:00am-9:00pm Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: From $10 per hour - $15 per hour License/Certification: CPR and AED Certification (Required) Lifeguard Certification (Required) Work Location: Dallas Country Club | Highland Park, Texas 75205
