They should possess a strong educational background and USPTO admission.Duties:Manage a diverse portfolio of patent projects encompassing drafting, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions, and due diligence.Conduct thorough analysis and research on patentability, infringement, and validity of life sciences patents.Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop and execute patent strategies aligned with business objectives.Prepared and prosecuted patent applications before the USPTO, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.Guide on intellectual property matters, including patent portfolio management and technology transfer.Requirements:1-10 years of experience as a Patent Agent, preferably in the life sciences sector.A master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field, with a preference for PhD candidates.Alternatively, 2-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, specifically in small-molecule pharmaceuticals.Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Education:Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field (PhD preferred).Certifications:Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Skills:Proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Strong understanding of life sciences and pharmaceuticals.Excellent research and analytical abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
