Warren AFB, WY POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS: Degree: Diploma in Practical Nursing Education: Gra duate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Experience: One year of practical or vocational nurse experience after graduation. Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a licensed or practical Nurse Certification: Must maintain hands on BLS course through American Heart Association or ARC U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens. Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate. Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract. HOURS: Be scheduled to work between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch period. In no instance shall the HCW provide services in excess of eight (8) hours per day or forty (40) hours per week. Health Care Workers will not be required to work on federally recognized holidays. F.E. Warren AFB has approximately six to nine Family Days and Wing Commander declared down days each year. On these days, the MTF will still operate and Health Care Worker shall perform services unless they schedule leave. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
