Our current portfolio consists of 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space.UCH is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. This individual should be a team player who can work independently, as well as on a crew. This individual will work on a variety of projects and must be familiar with both residential and commercial property maintenance. The plumber will Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids. Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation. Requirements: Journeyman’s or Master Plumbers License a plus Thorough knowledge of all aspects of plumbing trade including boiler and HVAC repair and installation. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the plumbing trade. The Plumber will install, repair and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties overseen by University City Housing. Backflow Preventer Certification a plus A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle A clean background check and strong references. Strong levels of communication -- both written and spoken English. Skills: Assist other trades personnel when needed to include carpentry, HVAC, general maintenance, appliance repair, snow/ice removal and other miscellaneous tasks or as directed by supervisor. Works alongside other technicians to ensure that maintenance repairs are completed efficiently and are in accordance with township code and safety regulations. Ability to be a team player and work towards common goals in a timely and constructive manner. Capable of prioritizing urgent projects and working in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Capacity to work independently without constant supervision.
