We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent with an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and convert sales leads for insurance policies while overseeing a robust portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have served in a related insurance industry role in which he or she cultivated a pool of prospective clients through referrals, networking, cold calls, marketing initiatives, and other proactive sales strategies. Responsibilities: • Devote an unprecedented level of personal attention when implementing a range of effective sales strategies proven to maintain and grow long-term customer base• Develop and deliver risk management strategies for each customer based on their risk profile• Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction• Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders• Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs Qualifications: • Demonstrated comprehension of the insurance industry, insurance products, risk management profiles, and associated state and federal regulations• Insurance license required• Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, customer service skills, and analytical skills are required• Proficiency with accounting or sales-related software is helpful• Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary Compensation: $45,000 - $75,000 yearly About Company: At Farmers Insurance 1475, our employees set the tone, drive our strategy, and create world-class customer experiences.
