Position SummaryThe Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2023-2024 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Library and Information Science department. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office schedule of classes at https://www.du.edu/registrar/course/scheduleofclasses.html. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2023-2024 academic year.Essential Functions * Teach in person or online once or twice a week (depending on course); * Create and maintain course Canvas container for the onsite courses; * Meet with students as needed; * Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate; * Grade in a timely manner; * Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed. Required Qualifications * Master's Degree in Library and Information Science or related field * Previous teaching experience at the graduate level and/or field experience in library and information science. Preferred Qualifications * PhD degree in relevant fields Application DeadlineApplications are currently being accepted and reviewed for the 2023-2022 academic year.
