Job Description Summary As a Leasing Consultant, you will play an important role with the onsite management team. Our Leasing Consultants look forward to working with an exceptionally skilled and highly trained team, geared to support your efforts to be successful. Our Leasing Consultants are people who make a big impact in many small ways - a friendly smile, a welcoming handshake, a genuine interest in the people walking through the property office door. Our Leasing Consultants create a positive and lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents, and understand the importance of first impressions. As a Leasing Consultant, you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, and by building rapport with prospects and residents. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Property Leasing and Administration Effectively show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour community, and sign lease Conducts all functions necessary to close the sale, including making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and all necessary follow up needed. Completes all leasing paperwork needed before move-in Assisting with lease audits, walking units, and turn process. Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to prospect leads within 24 hours. Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and work to achieve and exceed leasing goals. Perform various administrative tasks as needed. Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure resident satisfaction. Qualifications : Customer-focused attitude and great interpersonal skills Self-driven and desire to succeed. Working knowledge of social media Microsoft Office product suite: Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook Marketing Concepts Customer-Focused with excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Timely, organized, and efficient Adaptable, creative, and open-minded Professional appearance and demeanor Sales savvy and eager to help people find the right home.
