Make an Impact The Director of Learning and Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the overall learning and development strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for employee development. The Director will work closely with senior management to identify training needs and develop programs that enhance the skills, performance, and career growth of our employees.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning and Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead and manage the Learning and Development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Collaborate with leadership to assess organizational training needs and priorities. Program Development and Implementation Design and implement innovative learning programs, workshops, and initiatives that address skill gaps and promote professional growth. Oversee the creation of training materials, e-learning modules, and other educational resources. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Provide guidance and support to L&D team members, ensuring they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles. Evaluation and Measurement Develop metrics and evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness and impact of training programs. Continuously assess the quality and outcomes of learning initiatives and make data-driven improvements. Report on L&D metrics to senior leadership, demonstrating the return on investment of learning programs. Change Management Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. Facilitate organizational development activities that promote a culture of learning and adaptability. Leadership Development Develop and manage leadership development programs to cultivate future leaders within the organization. Create and implement career development pathways and succession planning processes. Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their career development. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and HR partners. Communicate the value and impact of learning and development initiatives to the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
