Implement and fulfill approved projects that support the City’s Strategic Plan. Responsible for planning, time schedules, budget/cost controls, quality assurance, human resources, communications, risk backssment and procurement/vendor management, workflow process, and business analysis change management. Manage applications and application support teams. Duties and Responsibilities Manage project lifecycle (initiation, planning, monitoring, controlling, updating stakeholders on, and closing). Responsible for application support and maintenance. Lead, prioritize and follow up with issues to ensure resolution. Contract and vendor management, ensuring compliance and project completion. Human Resources management, (determine work plan, schedules and tasks, coach and conflict resolution). Create, forecast, monitor and manage project budgets, approving payments, providing status and updates. Forecast budget requirements, create project budget line items, monitor and control major expenditures/capital purchases, approve payments, etc. Functional guidance of staff working on projects, supervise vendor and consultants Skills and Qualifications University Degree or College Diploma. Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate. Minimum of 5 years project management experience. Microsoft Office software, and applicable software programs. May require some light lifting of supplies/materials. Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and screens. Primarily office environment.
