The Lead Systems Architect and potential candidates must have a strong technical background to excel in this role. The current person in this role is experienced in embedded systems and RF technologies. This position requires a senior: level candidate with a significant level of expertise and gravitas. In addition to this, the Lead System Architect will have potential to support or lead innovation and work on products across all three pillars within the organisation that includes work for Datalinks, Battlespace and Spectrum Monitoring Systems (SMS). Salary and Flexible hybrid working arrangement: The salary on offer for Lead System Architect is GBP 80,000 : GBP 85,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Working 3 days in the office and 2 from home is available. Security Clearance: The Lead System Architect will require the candidate to hold a full British Passport and be eligible to gain Security Clearance. If you have Security Clearance already, that is an advantage. The role: The Lead System Architect will take responsibility for the development and architecture of new products as set out by the Engineering Manager and Chief Technology Officers (CTO). Technology and design focused role aimed at turning concepts into real products. The role primarily involves research and development activities.
