Job title: Lead SAP Basis Architect - Gx Injectables Work location: Irving, TX / Atlanta, GA / Richmond, VA / Columbus, OH Current Need We are recruiting for a Lead SAP Basis Architect Gx Injectables to set the administration & architectural vision supporting multiple business units/segments across McKesson. Key Responsibilities & Critical Skills: 10+ years in hands-on - SAP Basis Admin -Experience in system refreshes of SQL-based SAP systems -Experience managing SAP technologies as a basis administrator in a medium or large size organization. -Experience working with Support Package Manager (SPAM) and Software Update Manager (SUM) and Spool Configuration. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. -Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimum supervision. -Ability to handle multiple priorities, communicate task status clearly and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. -Must have strong technical foundation and strong problem solving skills. -Proficient understanding of SAP technologies and applications. -Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. -Proven attentive and active listening skills, with attention to detail. -Effective time management, organization and prioritizing ability. -Database Monitoring and troubleshooting. -Experience with requirements gathering, analysis and documentation. Presentation skills Good understanding of Data and SQL, in the Oracle product area Certifications in Basis Admin a bonus SAP Basis Admin Expert: SAP security operations -Print management Starting or stopping SAP instance OS space and disk management SAP system backup SAP system monitoring for superior performance and health Upgrading SAP kernels User administration and authorization Creating, controlling and managing batch jobs OS level backup and recovery Request and transport management system OS level patch monitoring, security and management SAP OSS Notes implementation Applying add-ons and support packages System landscape configuration and operation Some Database Operations Work experience Qualifications: BS/BA in information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
