Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing within a PEO or multi-payroll environment, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering top-notch client service. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the payroll processing for multiple clients in accordance with state and federal regulations• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including wages, deductions, and taxes• Review and audit payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance• Serve as the main point of contact for client payroll inquiries and issue resolution• Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance• Assist with special payroll projects as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred• Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a PEO or multi-payroll environment• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus• Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits: • Competitive salary• Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage• 401(k) retirement plan with company match• Paid time off and holidays• Career development opportunities Job Posted by ApplicantPro
