Job Summary The Reliability Engineer, RCA is responsible for leading the Root Cause Analysis Program on the Mount Vernon Site. The focus will be to manage the RCA program to improve asset reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and foster continuous improvements. This will include the facilitation of RCAs, reporting out results of the program, and tracking and follow:up on RCA study recommendations. Will require working closely with Unit Managers, Maintenance Leaders, Maintenance Engineers, Reliability Specialists, and Site Leadership. How You Can Be the Impact : Work with Site Leadership, Unit Managers, Production Engineering, Maintenance Leaders, Maintenance Engineers, Reliability Specialists, Financial dept. and EHSS dept. to track production losses, slowdowns, equipment failures, and EHSS incidents that require a RCA to be conducted. : Lead the Bad Actors Management Program for the site. : Assist in the development and training of Site personnel on the RCA methodology.: Facilitate critical RCAs and assist in the mentoring of Site personnel in facilitating RCAs across the site. : Manage RCA recommendation tracking, follow:up, and report out.: Maintain monthly and annual KPIs results of the RCA program to Site and Corporate leadership.: Present results of the RCA program to Site and Corporate leadership.: Provide Quality Control for the RCA program.: Be willing and capable of being a single, point of contact for the Reliability dept. with one production Unit What Matters to SABIC : B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering: 5 years of industrial experience with strong knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, rotating equipment, static assets (structural steel, vessels, piping), motors, and control systems.: Familiarity with reli
