For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: Job Description Lead ELT/ETL Developer C&F is looking for a passionate Lead ELT/ETL Developer for our Snowflake implementation project, with experience developing ELT/ETL solutions using dbt (Data Build Tool) and Snowflake. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust ELT/ETL solutions and guidance to extract, load, and transform data from various different source systems into Snowflake Data warehouse. What you will do:Collaborate with Business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutionsManage a team of ELT/ETL developers, providing guidance, support, and training as neededDesign, develop, document, test, optimize and troubleshoot ELT/ETL solutions using existing ELT/ETL toolsEnhance existing code by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas of modification and improvementIdentify and proactively resolve issues that could impact system performance, reliability, and usabilityDevelop and maintain ELT/ETL documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and data lineage Perform data profiling and data quality analysis to ensure that ELT/ETL processes are accurate and reliableTroubleshoot and resolve ELT/ETL issues and errorsDevelop, implement, and maintain data integration and data transformation best practices and standardsKeep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ELT/ETL technologies and toolsWhat you will bring to C&F: 5+ years of experience in ELT/ETL development and data integration solutions using dbt, SSIS, or any other ELT/ETL tool (3+ years dbt experience preferred)5+ years of database development experience using Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or any other RDBMS (3+ years Snowflake experience preferred)Expert knowledge of SQL/T-SQL/PL-SQL, Query Optimization, and Data management skillsExperience in Data warehouse development; Logical and Physical Database design & developmentExperience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) implementation and best practices using GitExcellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to think outside of the box and propose innovative solutionsExperience working in an agile environment would be a plusWork experience related to the Insurance vertical would be a plusExcellent written and oral communication skills #LI-MS #LI-REMOTE What C&F will bring to you Competitive compensation packageGenerous 401K employer matchEmployee Stock Purchase plan with employer matchingGenerous Paid Time OffExcellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $96,900 to a maximum of $159,900. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
