A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEAD CONSTRUCTION FRAMER / LEAD ROUGH CARPENTER As a Lead Construction Framer / Lead Rough Carpenter, you take accountability for your crew and make sure every project is properly framed. Familiar with all the hand and power tools required for rough carpentry, you make sure workers are properly trained in their use and insist on strict safety protocols. Collaborating with the job foreman, you carefully follow plans and construct projects to meet precise specifications. A natural problem solver, you competently address issues as they arise. You know how to prioritize multiple tasks, and you ensure each job progresses according to schedule. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEAD CONSTRUCTION FRAMER / LEAD ROUGH CARPENTER Commercial and/or residential framing experience Ability to lead a team Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and standing throughout the shift Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Can you be patient but firm while leading a crew?
