JOB TYPE: Full-time or Part-time, seasonal (8 months), schedule varies by week HOURS: 8:00AM-3PM POSITION OVERVIEW: The Laundry Attendant serves a vital role at the resort by providing exceptional service to guests. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The Laundry Attendant is a member of the Housekeeping staff and reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper, and in her absence to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure clean linens and public areas while adhering to the highest standards. Provide quality customer service to hotel guests and strive to exceed guest expectations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following established guidelines. Organize and manage time efficiently to accomplish daily tasks. Communicate and collaborate with laundry and housekeepting team. Attend and participate in daily team meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 15 years of age No previous laundry experience necessary Demonstrates effective communication skills Demonstrates attention to detail Possesses the ability to arrange and maintain guest linens according to specific standards Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body, arms and/or legs Abides by the highest ethical standards Willingness to learn and to ask for help when necessary Punctual Adaptable Available to work weekends, preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT: This can be a physically demanding role on your feet. Stamina to physically exert oneself without getting out of breath is required. Adaptable to heat.
