We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant who is comfortable talking with guests and will make them feel at ease. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties including washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Responsibilities: • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed• Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find• Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs• Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low Qualifications: • This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred• Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent Compensation: $12 - $15 hourly DOE About Company: Best Western Premier Great Northern Hotel Helena is a multiyear award-winning conference hotel, in the top 50 of 2200 Best Westerns in North America.
