The Lateral/Partner-level Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload independently from start to finish, overseeing associates and other team members, and should ideally possess a portable book of business. Duties:Handle commercial and general litigation mattersManage a complex and diverse caseload independently from start to finishWork with and oversee associates and other team membersDevelop case strategies and manage litigation risksConduct legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefsAppear in court for hearings, motions, and trialsNegotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processesCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of litigation experiencePortable book of business in the $400,000 range preferredStrong track record of successful case management and litigation outcomesAdmitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsDemonstrated leadership and management abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction Skills:Proficiency in handling commercial and general litigation mattersStrong case management and organizational skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesLeadership and management capabilities Benefits:Competitive compensation packageOpportunity for partnership or advancement within the firmCollaborative and supportive work environment The corporate law office is headquartered in Minnesota.
