We are seeking Laser Operators What is a Laser Operator? A laser operator is responsible for set up and operation of laser cutting machines to produce products that meet company's quality requirements. Operators must retrieve and organize material and load material. Olympic Industries is seeking an experienced operator to join our laser team. You will be partnered with 4 other operators, all with varying degrees of experience. Experience operating Trumpf brand lasers is a plus. In this role, you will Set up, operate and troubleshoot a laser Read prints, work orders or production schedules Know how to use tools to ensure efficiency and correct operation of the machine Use laser cutting and punching machines that make metal shapes and holes to fit other parts Ensure production of all parts meet OI quality standards by utilizing internal quality processes and SOP. Assist with material breakout and movement of parts to next production area when assigned You must be able to: Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools Have good math ability and problem solving skills Read and interpret blueprints efficiently Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50# Demonstrate safety in the laser operation process.
