Hale Construction, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Ed Hale. The company is located in Morristown, Tennessee, not far from the Great Smoky Mountains. Most of our work is within a 75-mile radius of Morristown, the hub of East Tennessee’s bustling industrial community. Duties: General construction work including but not limited to: Pouring footings, tying/reinforcing steel, forming concrete, prepping slab to pour concrete. Training for scissor lifts, fork trucks, skidsteer, etc. Assist with various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials Operate hand and power tools under supervision Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles Follow instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations on the job site Qualifications: Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required Pre-employment drug screen and medical exam required. Punctual and reliable attendance is a must! Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus Valid driver's license is preferred With reliable transportation Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
