Dental Laboratory Supervisor Under the direction of the Director of Prosthodontics, performs necessary administrative tasks to manage dental laboratory business. Responsibilities Responsible for quality control of dental restorations from lab Makes recommendations for acquisition of capital equipment Ensures protection of laboratory equipment and property including digital dentistry equipment Ordering and replenishing consumable dental materials Produces high quality dental fixed, removable, and implant restorations and with some experience in maxillofacial prosthesis Produces high quality pressed Lithium Disilicate, porcelain fused to metal restorations and finish zirconia restorations Digital Design of restorations using Exocad. Minor teaching responsibilities for dental residents Requirements High school diploma/ GED 7-10 years’ experience in dental laboratory production and supervision Graduate of Associate level dental laboratory training program Certified dental lab technician rating preferred CAD-CAM experience highly desirable Department: Dentistry Bargaining Unit: Non Union Campus: MOSES Employment Status: Regular Full-Time Address: 3332 Rochambeau Avenue, Bronx Shift: Day Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Req ID: 211525 Salary Range/Pay Rate: $62,990.31 - $83,987.09 For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.
